An independent, citable index of New York City car-service pricing — airport flat rates, hourly rates by class, and Uber Black surge multipliers. Updated July 6, 2026.

The index is compiled by the Premium Travel Review desk from its own 2026 booking log across nine New York operators, using the same weighted testing rubric published in our Methodology. Every figure is a rate the desk booked or was quoted at the operator's standard channel; none is operator-supplied marketing. The index is updated as the desk re-books through the year.
